Other customers read your reviews before they pick a restaurant, restaurants use your feedback to improve, and reviewing your orders earns you CaterCoins.
When you’re choosing a restaurant for your team, reviews from people who ordered before you show what arrived, whether there was enough, and whether it showed up on time. Your review does the same for the next customer.
For other customers: Your rating and public review show on the restaurant’s page, so the next customer can choose with confidence.
For restaurants: Restaurants see your feedback and use it to improve their food and service. Good reviews help more customers find them.
For CaterCow: We read reviews too. When a restaurant gets negative feedback, we follow up with them directly to fix the problem. If problems continue, we may stop offering that restaurant on CaterCow.

How to leave a review
A couple of hours after your order’s delivery time, it shows up in the Needs Review tab of your Reviews page. The video above walks through the whole flow.
1. From your Reviews page, open the Needs Review tab. It lists your recent orders that are ready for a rating, and each one shows how many CaterCoins you’ll earn for reviewing it.
2. Pick an order and click a star to rate it from 1 to 5. That opens the review form.
3. Under What Was Exceptional, tag anything that went well, like Punctual Delivery. Under What Could Be Improved, tag anything that fell short, like Not Enough Food.
4. Write a Public Review. This review will appear on the public website, so other customers can see how the order went. Anything you write in Private Feedback goes only to our support team and the restaurant.
5. To choose whether your name appears on the review, click Show Visibility Settings. Leave Show My Name Next To My Review checked to show your name, or uncheck it to leave an anonymous review.
6. Click Submit Review. Your review is public as soon as you submit it, and it moves to your Past Reviews tab. From there, click Edit Review to change your rating or feedback.
How reviews and CaterCoins work
- Your rating and public review show on the restaurant’s page as soon as you submit. Private Feedback goes only to our support team and the restaurant.
- Reviewing an order you placed earns CaterCoins based on its food subtotal. The Needs Review tab shows how many. Orders earn CaterCoins until 60 days after their order date.
- If a restaurant had no public reviews when you first ordered from them, reviewing that order earns a 2,000-CaterCoin bonus. What are CaterCow Rewards? charts how coins add up.
- A rating of 3 stars or fewer needs a written comment, in Public Review or Private Feedback.
Not ready to review yet?
Click Skip, and the order moves to your Skipped For Now tab. You can still review it from there later. If you haven’t rated an order about 30 days after it lands in Needs Review, we move it to Skipped For Now for you.
Loved the order? Click Order Again from Past Reviews.
