Curating individually packaged meals is not as easy as one may think. If a restaurant was catering a buffet with a choice of 3 entrees and 3 sides, they'll now need to tailor a special menu for individual style that will likely accommodate less selections per meal.
Furthermore, restaurants will need to be more mindful of mixing hot and cold in one container. They'll also need to package meals in a way that isn't overly wasteful for the environment's sake and to minimize costs. At CaterCow, we work with our restaurants to craft menus that work for everyone.
Easily Searchable High Quality Individually Packaged Meals
Individually boxed meals are a unique category of its own. Unlike other services, we don't lump the individually wrapped meals in the same menu as the buffet just because it's from the same restaurant. We've all seen menus where it says a $50 tray of chicken is “Individually Wrapped Optional”...whatever that means!
We also take photos of every single individually boxed menu in its actual packaging, not on fine china, so you know what you'll get during your delivery.

Kizzy was just perfect. I am a type-A, fairly avid cook, who is not used to having someone "take care of everything" but that is exactly what Kizzy did and I couldn't have done it better myself. She knew exactly how much food would be needed, exactly how to create a perfectly balanced menu, and how to take all of the effort and worry out of the food portion of entertaining. She was able to create a largely gluten-free menu which nobody ever would have noticed because the food was just so good. She showed up, got everything ready with labels, heating trays, and everything, and in 20 minutes her magic was set for the night. I look forward to having another event that needs to be catered just so I can have the pleasure of working with Kizzy and eating her absolutely divine food again! The highlights were the piña colada shrimp (GF) that was gone in the first hour, perplexingly amazing greek chicken satay (so moist and flavorful for something so simple; also GF), polenta rounds with mushroom sausage ragout (GF), and collard green & red cabbage imperial rolls (vegan/GF). Kizzy has a gift in knowing her audience, keeping her client involved enough to feel in the loop, but otherwise just quietly and seemingly effortlessly putting together an ideal culinary spread for even the toughest of critics. If it is not already apparent, I was just blown away (and so were my guests).
